how do you make your soaps?

all of my soaps are designed by me and handmade via the cold process method with nourishing oils and butters, colored with skin safe mineral colorants (the kind also used in makeup and bath bombs), and scented with fragrances specially formulated for safe use in soap and on skin!  each bar of soap cures for 4-6 weeks before it is ready for use!  i also occasionally use additional ingredients such as fruit purees, coffee grounds, botanicals, clays, spa salt, and activated charcoal for extra exfoliating or lathering effect. every soap comes with a full list of ingredients, and please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or would like any recommendations for skin or fragrance sensitivities!

are your soaps safe for use on my hands/body/face/my dog?

all soaps should be fine for use on hands and body, barring individual skin sensitivities.  however, my soap bars are not formulated for facial use and have not been tested on animals, so i don't recommend uh, doing that.  please note that some of the soaps contain exfoliating ingredients such as activated charcoal, coffee grounds, or poppyseeds that may be too rough for sensitive skin.

can you tell me a little bit about your packing process?

you might see a little bit of variation in my packaging supplies & boxes-- that's because i reuse and recycle packing supplies whenever i can! all soaps come shipped in a securely packed box with recycled packing supplies. 

when do you ship things out?

orders are typically packed and shipped out within 3-5 business days.  due to the pandemic, i am currently going to the post office about 1-2 times a week to drop off packages. 

for orders containing pre-order items, i pack and ship those according to the latest pre-order date. please keep an eye on those dates so you know when to expect your order.

do you offer international shipping?

yes!  international shipping is currently available except to the EU & UK.  EU & UK peeps, please place your orders on my ETSY SHOP (click for link) or contact me via email (nosydogsoaps AT gmail.com) and i can price out shipping and create a custom order for you via etsy, which will process VAT.

cancellations, returns, & refunds

at this time, i cannot offer returns or refunds unless you have received the wrong items in your order.  if there is an issue with your order or if you believe you have received the wrong items, please email me (with a picture of what you received) so that i can send you the correct soaps and/or refund your order.  if you wish to cancel your order and it is on pre-order/has not yet been shipped out, please email me.
